Since an idea of film arises, until the film sees the light and begins to project, the project suffers very important changes during its production process.
Very few films come to the cinemas following the fringed the original idea, unless its creator assumes absolutely the whole process and has the means for it.
A good example we have it in Marvel s cinematographic universe, who was about to see the wasp debuting on the big screen some years before doing it in Ant-Man.
The Avengers, the first Great Crossover of the UCM, was directed by Joss Whaton in 2012, and had an iteration of script where the great protagonist was wasp .
During the production of the Avengers, agenda problems emerged with Scarlett Johansson so that she would interpret black widow again, paper she had already developed at Iron Man 2 .
Given the doubts, Whedon wrote a version of the script where it was included a waspa, and that she ended up being the main character of the booklet.
According to the book The Story of Marvel Studios: The Making of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , Written by Tara Bennett and Paul Terry , Joss Whedon wanted Zooey Deschanel Interpreted Hope Van Dyne (PYM).
Of course, in that primitive version, prior to Ant-Man events, the wasp would have been the original, Janet Van Dyne .
Finally, agenda problems with Scarlett Johansson solved, and Whedon realized that almost all script was centered on the wasp.
In a way it would have been a bit strange that this crossover, who took the characters of the films that preceded him, would have had a completely new protagonist.
However, we will always be the doubt of how it would have been that iteration of the avengers starring the wasp.
