Last day, a new rumor arose that suggested PlayStation could soon be looking to recover its inactive superhero, infamous franchise. The series, which has been developed only by Sucker Punch Productions until this moment, has not received a new delivery of any kind since 2014. And although there is no guarantee that we end up watching a new entry announced at the end of this week. At the Sony PlayStation Showcase event, a movement that transcended from the editor not long adds a little credibility to the rumor.
Not long after this, the rumor of a new infamous game began to circulate, the fans began to investigate online to see if there was something that could have happened in relation to the franchise in recent history. He wanted the luck that one of those developments was discovered. Found by the user @ Onion00048 on Twitter, it seems that PlayStation returned to register the domain for the official infamous website earlier this summer. Instead of letting the domain expire, those of Sony updated it at the end of June to keep the name of the website under your control.
It is rumored that the infamous project was announced at the next PlayStation Showcase.

So, does this movement mean that PlayStation could be planning to use this website once again for a new infamous title? Well, it's hard to say. Even if you are not going to reveal any infamous game for PlayStation 5 in the near future, Sony may have opted to buy this domain once again only to keep him out of reach of others. This is something that many videogame companies make for older franchises, regardless of whether a resurgence is expected or not.
At this time, the official infamous website still aims at Sucker Punch's own site. While much of the site is now adorned with iconography related to Fantasma of Tsushima, which is the most recent title of the study, maybe we could soon see it reviewed if a new infamous game was announced. Time will tell at the end of this week what is the truth.
