Much we still do not know about Project Magnum, but there is already a first teaser trailer for the upcoming PS4 and PS5 game, which looks quite promising. The atmosphere is already true, the video looks impressive from the first look and some gameplay mechanics can also be seen. At the same memories shooter loot as Destiny, Anthem or outriders immediately awake to known. But the project is likely to be still in a fairly early stage.
PS4 and PS5 have a new co-op shooter and so Project Magnum looks
On the official PlayStation channel a new trailer for the currently still Magnum Project titled sci-fi action RPG has emerged. The name may change, obviously, it should be according to the video's description act nor a working title. Even otherwise, the information is still quite sparse, but there are at least a couple.
The coarse information at a glance:
- Project Magnum is a loot shooter
- Driven by South Korean Nat Games Studio
- Appears for PS4, PS5 and PC
- Third person shooter with RPG elements
- Sci-fi elements clearly determine the Story
- Apparently, there will also be a co-op mode
- Grappling Hook obviously plays a major role
But best you see yourself right first the trailer:
As Destiny, Outrider & Co.? The first viewing of the trailer most video game fans will immediately think of a few other games. At least there seems to be some more or less obvious examples of Project Magnum at which may have been oriented.
The big round thing looks a bit like the traveler from the first Destiny, just like some of the more massive enemies and characters. Then there are a few elements that are reminiscent of Anthem, like this one huge wall. Even when opponents design brings back memories and the co-banging looks partly also a bit of outriders from. Last but not least, there is also to see one or the other scene that could come from Returnal.
One of the top comments under the YouTube video is:
Lost Planet, Final Fantasy, Gears of War, matrix and Warframe combined into a hopefully epic game!
This must of course all be nothing bad, quite the contrary. Although there are already many cooperative action-RPGs with sci-fi elements, but Project Magnum can the genre might still add something new or simply make a lot of fun. Currently it is still too early to tell, but promising the trailer affects all.
What do you say? How do you like the first view of Project Magnum?
