In a trailer, Publisher Nexon has introduced the new Loot Shooter under the Project Magnum work title. The scenes are strongly reminiscent of the Loot Shooteroutrider, but look much chic. Meinmmo summarizes the information for you.
What is this for a game? Next to the trailer there is also a brief description of the game that add at least a rough impression.
The trailer also shows a mixture of cutscenes and gameplay scenes that look quite good. There is massive action, fighting and some opponents to see. In addition, a few parallels can be pulled to outrider.
When should Project Magnum appear? So far, there is no release date to the Loot Shooter. So far, it is said that accurate details should follow at a later date.
For which platforms the game appears? Project Magnum should be published on the PC and the PS5. Other platforms were not mentioned.
Who stands behind Project Magnum? Behind the game is the developer Studio Nat Games, which belongs to Nexon. The South Korean publisher is known, for example, for the Maplestory F2P game, which last but was rather negatively struck and struggling with fraud allegations.

Project Magnum has some parallels to Outriderers
What are the similarities? First of all, Outriderers is also a Loot Shooter, who plays from the third-person perspective. But there are more similarities:
- Project Magnum also seems to set a mix of science fiction and fantasy during setting.
- It will probably give a pure PVE game like outriders. At least in the video description does not speak of PVP the speech.
- Again, you are traveling in a group
- There is probably a lot of weapons and scratched skills, as it is the case in Outriders.
What are the differences ? Project Magnum also has a few things that different from Outriders and could make a big difference in the sum:
- While a maximum of three players can go to Loot Hunt together in Outriders, up to four players will be possible here.
- In Project Magnum players are probably much more moving.
- For example, there is a kind of gripping hook that can be used to use larger opponents and protrusions.
- It also seems to give fat melee weapons.
Currently it is still too early to pull large conclusions from the trailer. For example, we do not know how the Project Magnum Loot system should work. Also, it is not clear how much of the scenes shown are scripted and how much freedom of movement players actually have.

There is a story? The trailer gives at least one kind of framework. So a strange, large and black ball in the trailer can be seen, which is being staged as a kind of threat.
In addition, you can see larger, destroyed ruins and various locations close to a gloomy setting. It remains to be seen how exactly everything puts together. We will keep an eye on Project Magnum for you.
The fantasy content should therefore be significantly larger than it was the case in Outrider's. This indicates at least the design of some opponents shown. From enemy drone robots to absurd monsters is already shown a lot.
Among the first reactions to the trailer, some other comparisons are listed. So some similarities to other shooters look like Lost Planet 2, titanium or Gears of War. Some even compare the art style with Final Fantasy. Ultimately, it remains to be seen how everything comes together in the game.
