This is a list of devoted computer game consoles in sequential order. Only formally accredited devoted consoles are listed in the retro design areas. This checklist might not be complete yet. Dedicated gaming consoles are computer game gaming consoles that have a single game or a limited list of video games constructed into the console itself, and are not geared up for added video games that are dispersed via ROM cartridges, discs, downloads, or other media. All first-generation computer game consoles are devoted gaming consoles. Beginning in the 2000s, there has been a new wave of committed gaming consoles focused mainly on retrogaming.
This is a secret secret that game platforms like exclusives - the consoles can have a single sales argument in terms of equipment (the movement of movement of the Wii come to mind), but the Software exclusivity can create a similar effect. Nintendo is famous for its exclusive titles, it is clearly useful to present customers a unique game family.
But how much is this exclusivity, exactly? And if this exclusivity is only temporary, does it devalue it a lot? Apparently, the first Rise of the Tomb Raider was sufficiently valuable for a year of exclusive value 100 million dollars.
Financially speaking, exclusivity is an interesting problem. Although this can lead to more console sales and help fund a large part of the game development (simply imagine what type of game you could do per 100 million dollars ...), the limited players base could lead less sales. The games make most of their money closer to the launch of a game, so even temporary exclusivity could result in permanent loss of income. A position like this requires a meticulous balance between largely unknown values, which makes this agreement particularly confidently striking.
It is difficult to say if such an important bet has borne fruit. Apparently, the game did not sell as well as its predecessor, but was well received by critics. The game ended up going out at about the same time as Fallout 4, which could have attracted (and portfolios) that would otherwise be looked at Tomb Raider. But that said, the game still sold, especially when the PlayStation and PC versions of the game were finally published. At the very least, it is clear that the game has benefited in the long term (even if the exclusivity has frustrated many players), 100 million additional resources is not to be taken lightly.
