Assign a villager to the research project you want to open. You must win Village XP to increase your level of study. Then you can access more research projects! While research takes time, you can do it faster using scrolls. Each parchment reduces research time in a minute.

You can apply the new research project to your village once it has been completed. This could be a new structure or an improvement of an existing one.

What happens if there are no buildings to update?

If there are no buildings to update, it is likely that you have to complete a research project in the study!

Research is blocked

Blocked research means you need to increase your Village XP! Make sure you build new buildings or improve existing ones in the village. If you do not have available actions, update your study will be enough.

Find more villagers building new homes. Get new housing by investigating them in the studio!

The research is not available while the study is updated.

Cancel / change research

While you can not undo any research you have started, you can change to a different research project without any penalty. The progress of your current research project will be saved.
